The practitioner was assured, helpful and kind.
She had some ideas we had not thought on.
No Homecare was in place with discharge. Was given 'SPA' number to call and set up home care, this was difficult to implement during the pandemic (covid-19), every number I was given to phone, passed me to another department and so on- it took days to get homecare in place.
No rehabilitation therapy provided, but was provided with equipment to assist 'at home' needs.
Back in hospital 9 weeks after discharge.
The staff without exception have all been incredibly rude to me
No one in their right mind would want anyone to go to the Warneford and the staff don't tell the truth or look after themselves.
I wouldn't give them one star. I emailed the AMHT some questions but they never answer questions so I rang them to try to get an answer. The woman who answered the phone didn't give her name but said when I asked I should receive a written response by the end of the day. I said I wasn't available to take a phone call when she asked. In the middle of an important meeting my phone rang and I couldn't answer so when I had two minutes I returned the call it was Izabella from the AMHT I explained again I wasn't available by phone and that I needed a written response (because they don't keep their word as well as other reasons) and then with one minute before I had to return to work I called the AMHT to ask for the written response again. I never received the written response.
I felt that things got out of my control and they were the best people to deal with the situatiom
